Shed COVID-19 4 Recap
NuCook welcomes you to the final part of our series ✨Shed COVID-19✨ dedicated to helping you create and maintain healthy habits that will last a lifetime!
Just in time for the 4th of July, this class was all about grilling-- the amazing Chef Eva led us through a safe and yummy way to chef up some Grilled Asparagus with Capers, Herbs, and Eggs; Tomato Bruschetta; and Grilled Shrimp with Corn Polenta.
Whether you’re a grilling newbie or expert, these healthy and delicious recipes will build confidence and wow your guests at any cookout. Try skipping the burgers and hot dogs and try our nutritious, low-calorie grilling recipes - you won’t regret it. 😉
Our grilled asparagus dish uses shredded hard-boiled eggs to create a delicious and beautiful topping. During class, Chef Eva taught us her fail-proof method of cooking eggs so that the shells fall right off every time! The secret? Steam your eggs in water that has come to a rolling boil, rather than putting them directly in cold water. This will force the egg whites to form a solid gel that shrinks away from the shells, making them easy to peel.
And as always, we recommend that you measure and prepare your ingredients in advance (also called mise en place) to make sure things run as smoothly as possible.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us throughout this entire Shed COVID-19 series, and we hope you enjoy the rest of your summer! As always, please send us photos of your NuCook meals.
